Default speedometer

When I drive, the speedometer always seems wrong. when i'm going through a residential area when the speed limit is 25, it feels like i am going to fast, and when i am behind cars, the speedometer says about 22, but it feels more normal. on the highway though, it feels like i am going much slower than it says. i would be going 75, and still be passed by nearly everyone. what could be wrong, and how much would it be to have the problem fixed, if it can be?

Default RE: speedometer

call around to see if you can find a speed-o meter shop that has a dyno, they will put it on a dyno and adjust the speed sensor according to the actual speed put out by the dyno tuned in.
