My 2002 Accord has lived its entire life in the rust belt. My wheels are losing their clear coat rapidly and now it's a weekly effort to keep the air pressure correct. I have been told powder coating is a great option.

What say you? Do you think powder coating each wheel is a good way to stop the oxidation, look great, and make them last another 16 years?

 

we have a friend that owns a power coating company, that is the best way to have your rims treated to last a long time.

power coating is for steel rims, i don't know if the aluminum/mag rims. will find out.

yes mag rims can be powder coated. per owners son of powder coating company.

 

Good, I had heard the same thing from someone else. I guess I need to get onto this job quickly. Tomorrow I want to check on getting my rust repair done and while I am out, check on the Russian member's cabin filter tray.
