Need a little help here. Went to my local parts store to get transmission fluid and they tried to sell me $21 a quart tranny fluid. Said it had to be special HONDA only fluid. I looked online and it said I could use Valvoline Max Life ATF Automatic Transmission Fluid. Just looking to see if I have to buy HONDA only or can I use the max life ATF?

 

Welcome in,it's best to use the Honda aft ,you can use the Max life in emergencies but stick with Honda fluids,you can find it cheaper just do some research.
