Default turn signals don't work when braking

My 2000 Accord Coupe turn signals don't work when breaking. They work fine without my foot on the brake. However, go out when I brake to slow down. Any suggestions?

Problem was fixed today. There was a bad ground in my trunk underneath the carpet. I didn't find it. However, a mechanic quickly realized the problem and cleaned the ground and reconnected it. Problem solved.
