hi all,

I've got a 90 accord lx with a cracked transmission case. The crack is right in the middle on the bottom. I'm going to try to weld a patch over it, but was wondering if anyone has any experience or advice with this. Worried about frying something on the inside, going to MIG it in a home shop.

 

welcome to the forum. Did a weld on a escort trans, and did not work well, still leaked

 

Better off buying a used on from a salvage yard.
