Question Whats your opinion?

my ride is a 1992 accord. I love the body style. I am thinking about keeping it sweeeet and simple. I'm always thinking about what color i want to paint it. I am leaning towards a teal color, with a set of gold drag dr20's in a 15x7 +0 offset with a set of 195/50's, dropzone coilovers and tein pillow ball mounts with camber adjust. What i would really like to find but haven't had much luck is a simple lip kit. I've looked at a load of body kits and i don't want my car to ricey. I am also considering adjustable air struts. Where i live there are a lot of "unstable" roads, and i would love to be able to drive around without bottoming out on every damn rut in the road, but still be able to squat it at a show or cruise. If any body has any leads on cheap bag kits or lip kits, or just an opinion on my approach of simplicity let me know. Thanx....

i have a 93 accord and i love the simplicity of it as well. you might want to think about 16" rims i have 205/40 16 on mine with yoko h4 (has the rim protector). 16 give it the low profile look but with the height to be able to take the bumps. i don't like anything lower than 40 profiles and 50's are just too high. don't like the bulg look. mine's stock height but personally i'd go with a 1 to 1 1/2" drop with coil overs and a camber kit. any more and the pigs start looking at your ride. i can drive faster on my car than on my jetta because it's not as flashy.

my 2 cents. good luck with the project.

hey thanks alot, do you have any pics of your car so i can get a little bit better idea of what it might look like? The 195/50/15 is only about a quarter of an inch taller than a 205/40/16, besides i'v already got the tires. They are nitto extreme 450's on my escort gt.

good tires. i have those on my karmann ghia. same size too. car rides like its on rails, but no tread warranty like the yoko h4. i hate the roll you get on 50 profiles.

no photo it's a stock green except for the rims. i have a generic 6 spoke rims in gunmetal grey. i don't like the tall look but then again i dont want to mess with the stock look too much. oh... yeah i didn't want to spend too much because the retractable antena broke so i replaced it with a black flexy one and a remote starter. my sister drives it as a daily so i only get to see it when i need to tune it up. the ghia is my daily driver.

Default Bummer

mine is white, four door, all electric, sunroof, all the nice goodies that make the car heavier than it needs to be. I bought the car because, one i love the body style, two i had a new born daughter and needed a four door car (my escort had no back seat). I had to part with it when times got rough but i consider it mine still because it's in my dad's driveway wastin away after he blew the motor. Here's the short list of mods i did to it (keep in mind it had 1.8 dohc mazda motor in it.
b&m short shifter
act clutch
15x7 polished eagles
195/50 nittos
new brakes calipers and cross drilled rotors
2.5" exhaust

one-off spray tinted tailights
power steering delete (go cart on steroids ride)
it only had 73000 miles on it and would hit 75+ in third gear.
