'01 civic ex V Tech problem, help please!
I've had my Civic for about 4 years now, no big problems except recently as in the past 1.5 years during long commutes especially up hill. I've found the problem happens at exactly 400rpms, my engine sputters until I take my foot off the gas and get under 400rpms. I talked to my Honda only mechanics and they said they can't do anything about it, but I can't wrap my head around the fact that there is nothing to be done and I've never heard of this happening before. Please help if you can, anything at all would be appreciated.
Thanks

welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay. would like to know when your last tune up was, and what was done. Also check the fuel pressure in your fuel rail. what is your current milage? Air filter clean? Can the car go above 4000 rpm's. ( you state 400 rpms, this is below idle )

Hey sorry I have not posted in return. I just moved into a new place so its been an adjustment. It was at my last checkup when I told them about the problem (at an all Honda place that was recommended to me) and they said that everything looked fine and they had no idea what was going on so nothing could be done. I can go above 4000rpm(4000 and not 400rpm is what I meant in the original...I have an issue with proof reading as you can see) but after driving for a while is when it gets worse. I'll check on the fuel idea, see how up to date I am with all of those, my air filter is fine. My mileage is 124 thousand give or take.
