Default 01civic ex 4door. Can’t find correct length axles

Hey guys, I hope someone can help with this bc Iv never experienced this much of a problem getting the correct part. I have a 2001Civic EX four-door manual transmission. I acquired this car from my friend, but the vehicle had neither front axle so with that being said, I have attempted to buy three different aftermarket axles for each side. The driver side axle is about 4 inches too short and the passenger side is about 2 1/2 inches too short I called Honda. They gave me correct factory part numbers for each axle and it’s total lengths. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated

It’s really more of a friend of a friend, but he bought the car lowered it with coil over springs bottom the car out busted a hole in the oil pan so he bought a used engine and he had it installed but when they did the engine, they removed the transmission and engine together. Driver side axle was already broken so my buddy’s friend just chucked the old axles figuring he would just buy new and replace them. Now I can’t find the proper length axle for either side anywhere. So that’s how I acquired the car. Guys was tired of messing with it. Driver side, which is the long axle Honda states it should be 39.74 in. And passenger side drive axle should be right around 27.5

If it's been lowered the profile has changed so you need a different axle. These are usually fabricated.
