Default 2009 honda civic oil leak need help..anybody please

Hello everyone new to the forum here. I was hoping if someone could help me out that possibly had the same issue. I have a 2006 Honda civic 1.8 engine with only 90k miles. I noticed the other day that i have a oil leak not a bad leak in fact it hardly makes it to the ground but you can see it when u look under the car looking like it wants to fall on the ground. everything looks clean under the hood so the leak must be coming from the back side of the engine where it is not visible. I heard that these cars often leak from the variable timing solenoid gasket. i sure hope this is the issue because the gaskets are cheap. Has anyone encountered this issue ? is this a common problem with these cars ( Honda civic 2006 to 2011)
