i have a 91 si hatch and i just recently replaced my timing belt and now when im sitting in traffic i seem to notice the temp. goes up a lil but as soon as i start moving it goes back to normal, and my car isnt running any different...can anyone give me any suggestions? thanks Mike

When you changed the timing belt, did you change the water pump and the crank and cam seals. Also was the timing checked after belt changed. It could also be the rad is starting to clog on the top side if anti freeze was not changed regularly. the thermostat(starting to malfunction) may be allowing the water to get hotter before the fan comes on, or the fan motor may not be coming on to keep it cool.

check and see if ur fan is running...i had the same problem in my 94 civic ex and my fan switch ended up being messed up and the fan wasnt turnin on...

had the same problem with my 99 sir after swap.. replace your thermostat
