Default 93 civic ex running like crap

its getting plenty of fuel. we replaced the distributor, cap, rotor, plugs and wires to no avail. it idles really rough and when you tap the gas, it hesitates then drops to dangerously low rpms. if you're driving down the road and come to a stop it will stall. no idiot lights are on. i'm completely stumped on this one. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be bad gas. Add some water remover and see if that helps. I had a similar problem happen to me a few years ago, after I got new gas in it the problem went away. But that wasn't until after a complete tune up and many other new parts.

another possibility could be your PCV valve or an idle air control valve. r
