Default battery light

i have an 89 crx with an auto trans and it drives ok, but when i stop at a light or a stop sign. and the rpm's hit 1000 my battery light comes on. when i put the car in park or nuetral it goes up to about 1250-1500 rpm and the light goes off. with in the last couple of months i have replaced battery, sparkplugs & wires, distributor cap & rotor, and my alternator. i looked at my belts thought the might not be tight enough but they were fine. not sure what it could be any suggestions. now it is messin with my stereo when i turned up my radio it would turn my radio off. now my car acts like the battery is really low when i try to start it but the batery has 11.43 volts.

Default RE: battery light

Put a full charge to your battery, and have a shop do a load test to see if it is shorted internally, if you can get your engine started, at idle check to see if you can get about 13-14 volts on your battery, this shows if your alternator is charging.
