I bought a 92 Civic and the air conditioner worked for a few weeks and just stopped blowing cold. What do I try first?

welcome to the forum. check all the a/c lines and hoses for possible leak. oily residue around fittings or hoses to indicate possible leak. If you have r-12 old freon in the system (small service fittings like tire stem size) it is r-12. If large fittings to service freon, then 134 being used. you can change over to r134, just not as cool.
