Default Civic engine swap

Hi, a while ago my 98 Civic si developed rodknock, I am still trying to decide on an engine. I am looking for an inexpensive option, and also something simple to drop in. The options that I've found would be easiest would be b18c1, b16a2, b18c5, b16b or just stick with the d16y8, but depending on the engines for sale in my area that might not be possible. Would I have to do modifications for any on the not stock ones? Would I have to buy the transmissions as well?
Thanks

I'm a noob, but I can answer this one. Look for one on ebay. But then adjust the results of eBay's listings to list them in close proximity to your first. I found engines within 200 miles of me that would be worth driving to get them instead of paying freight to save money. Luckily though, I ended up having a minor problem with my engine.
