Hi, i'm new here and don't know how it works.

I have a little problem.
I changed my instrument gauge 2 days ago, it worked before i changed it but now it won't light.

i just took theme off the the older one and plug'd theme on the new one, it's just like it was on the older one.
the instrument gauge on the speedo and odometer was glued on it, but i took it off, the glue was yellow.. can that have something to do with it?

 

I'd first check the fuse to see if you might have shorted it out because i recently had a problem with my gauge cluster. the backlight wasn't working but the gauges were working fine. I checked the fuse and it was blown(this can happen from working with electrical and not disconnecting the negative battery cable) replaced it and it still blew. it turned out to be the wire from the cluster was worn off some and shorting out the connection. check for shorts and fix those put a new fuse in and see if it works. make sure your connections to the cluster are on properly.
