hey guys what's up. i have a problem. my cluster light did not work when i got the car. i took it to some mexican guy in LA and he added a cool blue light (about a 1ft long) that replaces the O.G. cluster light for $5 but i have him $10. i was trying to put a radio in and pulled it out by accident. do not know where it goes.
evern since that happen my speedometer went out too. if someone can help me i would be more than happy. it sucks driving in the freeway @ 3 in the morning for an hour.

ohh and one more question, i have a gas smell that burns the crap out of my eyes. hope someone can help me with that too. thanks

 

check 1st for a good fuse, then check behind the cluster for the connection to be good, if good then check to see if you have power up to the cluster plug. You will need to get a wire diagram to know what line to check for power.
for theeye burning, make sure you have no leaks on your exhaust system from the header to the muffler tail pipe. If you have a shop vaccum you can put pressure up the tail pipe and do a sudsy bubble leak check.if no leaks,then check cause of rich burn.

hey acmech52. cluster is still now working. i didnt check yet. just bought a JDM SIR and thought that would fix the cluster. speedometer still doesnt work. i notices i had to sacrifice 2 wire a green and yellow. please explain how to fix it if you can. explain as romeadiate as you can. thank you
