Default drivers side brake

i have a 2010 civic with 20000mi and the front driver side inboard pad is wearing faster than the others. the dealership told me it was because the vehicle has two different lenght axles on it. is there any possible way this can be true.

welcome to the forum. there is a different length axles, but has nothing to do with brake pad ware. the slides that the pad rides on may be sticking. both sides of the pads should ware evenly if everything is working properly. What dealership did you take your civic to. Is it the same one you purchased it from.
