hi , i' am new in the ferum, hope no ? is stupid question.
i have 95 civic hb, is there a trick on how to turn engine light off ?
your help is much appreciated. they won't let me pass the DEQ with this light on.

First of all, why is the light on? There could be an important reason for it to be on that you should take car of. That being said, disconnect your negative battery cable for 15-30 seconds. That should clear your ecu and reset the computer and your engine light should not pop up again for at least a few miles. If you need the light permanently disabled, the easiest way is to take out your instrument cluster and pop out the light bulb.

 

is it still on with engine off?? cud b wiring connection probs. pretty easy, just send it to workshop n it's done.
gud luck.. or reset ecu like the orther fellow memebr's advise

 

hi,i take it you havnt just fitted a decat pipe or anything like that which will also cause the same problem.
