Hi, new guy. My Honda is a 96 EK. It currently has a stockish B20. The tranny I suspect to be out of an Si. It's fun. Lowered bla bla. Anyway. I have a smallish roots blower from an ion redline my little brother blew up for me. Anyhow. Question. I like auto Cross. So not super fast drag racing. Should I go K24, stick with the B20 and Frankenstein it. Or go back to the B16 ? This blower makes 12 psi on a 2.0. and should produce more with a pully, and even more on the 1.6. On the 2.4 it should build less. Question two, what about compression? These are low boost levels but what should I top the ratios out on these engines at these levels? Thanks for reading my noob questions. I am leaning towards the 2.4 with 10-12 lbs and whatever tranny is funnest for that motor.
