Default Engine swap question

Hey everyone. So here's my question(s). I have a 96 civic EX coupe 5 speed that the body is pretty bad on and the interior is totally ragged out in however it has a fairly low mileage engine. I recently found and bought for $250 a 98 civic EX that has a high mileage engine that has developed an engine knock but has no problems with the body or interior BUT, it's an automatic. So if I do an engine swap and I pull my engine from the 96 5 speed and drop it in the 98 automatic, am I going to run in to any problems? I know they're the same engines, b16b? And I know, I know don't go to an automatic etc. I just need to know if it's going to work and any problem I may run in to. Thanks.

welcome to the forum. looking at the available info, there should be no problems. 96 to 00 ex models were all v-tec, blocks should be the same.
