Hey guys. I'm new here and I need some help. Immy transmission finally gave out on my 2006 coupe. Found one here locally and when I showed up. It was listed wrong and what I found was a 6 speed trasmission for the R18A1. What was told to me was that the 6 speed will mount the same as the 5 speed and all I have to do is cut out more spacing for where reverse will be now since it's the 6th gear. Is this correct? Will the 6 speed mount the same as the 5 speed. It should right if I was made for the R18A1. I really wasn't looking to add a new gear. Just needed a transmission fast to get back on the road.
