Default heater core replacement...

So I'm purchasing a used heater core for $35, and my mechanic is charging $280 to install it. Is that a good price?

checking repair pal, in Hemet Ca. Dealership charges (767-1085) 565-720 labor, 202-365 parts. I got to change a heater core on a 94 escort, 6.25 hrs. it was not a fun job. I got a new core, not a used one. didn't want to replace it again.
