I have a question if anyone can answer this. I am trying to find out what engine i can put in my 1996 Honda civic Ex automatic. It had a 1.6 vtec single overhead cam. I was told I can put the same of course and A ZC D16 engine. if anyone knows please do tell.

welcome to the forum. If you go to wikipedia and navigate to honda civic (6th generation) If will show you all the engines the car can use. 1996 to 2000 has the 1.6 to 1.8 engines. If you want to mod the engine bigger to your car, get manuals from Honda by Kojima.
