Indicator for activated VSA flashes after ABS sensor replacement
Hi,
Have a Civic 2009, VIII Hatchback (FN, FK) 1.8 (FN1, FK2) (103 kW / 140 hk)
Had to replace my rear axle beam due to rust and decided to replace everything except the shaft journals (axle pins) and wheel bearing hubs, as they were fine.
When dismantling the ABS-sensors they obviously broke. I replaced them with new having corresponding part# 57475-SMG and 57470-SMG.
The sensor pulse rings at the bearing hubs are cleaned and nice. Brake system is flushed properly, and pedal is firm.
Now when test driving the “indicator for activated VSA” immediately flashes at throttle and there is no throttle response. It is only the yellow triangle that flashes. The “VSA” indicator is off.
If I turn the VSA off with the VSA button there is throttle response, but the ABS system makes a noise when you brake a little harder.
Any idea on this? Is there a calibration procedure after replacing sensors? When checking youtube people tend to just replace the hardware and everything is fine.
Thank you in advance.
