Exclamation Intake makes loud hissing sound?

Ok Sooo I'm kind of confused as to why it does this but I have a 95 Civic Coupe DX 1.5 No Vtec, and when it's running everything seems fine until I turn the A/C on, when I turn the A/C on the intake makes a god awfully annoyingly loud hissing sound what could be the problem? someone told me that it was a bad throttle body or something and just to note I do have an aftermarket intake but it was on the car when I bought it I literally don't know what's been done to this car before I bought it the only thing I know is that i put a new stereo in it and that's about it, anyone have any ideas thoughts or comments? I do have suspicion that this car was a salvage or in a pretty bad accident before I bought it because some panels don't match up the horn and alarm horn don't work the SRS light doesn't come up along with the other check lights there are newish looking parts here and there the alignment is off screws fell out of random spots on the dash. sensor wiring and stuff look like they've been severed and then put back together with some electrical tape. I mean idk this whole car is iffy to me. it works fine but not knowing a complete accident and service history kinda scares me since it's not a very big car lol

I think that it may be because of the new stereo that the noise is coming out of your car.Just check it.

sounds like a possible intake leak, or did you check your belt tensions on the a/c compressor. sometimes the compressor clutch makes a hissing sound if it is slipping a bit. have someone turn it on and off while you look under the hood for the noise.

if it only happens when you turn the ac on i would check the ac lines and compresor. does the ac blow cold air ??? otherwise its the belt.

You've maybe got an intake leak, if i could get a sound clip then i will let you listen to mine lol...But that definitely sounds like what you have.

yeah It blows cold and hot air when selected the sound isn't comming from the belt area though it's coming from the Intake.

Mrthought and acmech52 an intake leak does sound plausible how would I narrow it down to know that it is really an intake leak? take the pipe off and check something maybe? simple and cheap fix or easy and expensive? intake doesn't sound too difficult to me. but thoughts would be appreciated very much thank you guys

also I can try to get a sound clip too. might have to wait till the weekend though. having some work done on my car this week so no time to do it.
