Shift solenoid problems
I have a 99 Civic EX. I am getting the flashing D4, my scanner gives me a P0758 code.(shift solenoid B) I've checked the continuity of the wires from the solenoid to the ECM, everything checks out OK. Tested the valve by applying 12v, OK. I've even purchased a new valve set. No better than the original.
I have two ECM's and I get the same results with both.
I can clear the codes, reset the ECM by disconnecting the battery and the instant I turn on the ignition switch, the D4 begins to flash. If I check the codes, I GET THE P0758 again, I haven't even started the engine yet.
If I disconnect the connector to the solenoid, I get a P1753 code(Torque converter solenoid valve circuit.
I just don't have any idea which way to go from here. The tranny doesn't slip at all and everything else works great. What can I do?

solved
U have solved the problem. I tried rerouting the wires and everything was solved. That indicated broken wires inside the insulation. I then replaced the wire involved about two feet back from the connector. Now all is well.
