I know this is an old post but no use in creating a new one . I wanted to get advice on what you guys thought the issue is on my speedometer. When I start the car it sits at 20mph, and typically will not move from there unless I climb a hill, roll down my windows (only sometimes), turn on my A/C, or press in on my trip mileage resett button (and that doesn't even work now). So do you think its wiring or mechanical. I'm not the type to ask but its a difference of acouple hundered dollars.

Thanks in advance for your input,
Mike81

try checking the speed sensor. remove it and check for breaks or damaged teeth on the gear. located on the back of the top of the tranny passenger side one bold holds down the whole assembly. start with just checking the connection
