Default Ticking noise

Hi everyone, I have a question hopefully someone can help me. My engine is a D16y8 SOHC and theres a ticking sound from the engine. It drives on 5w 30 oil. Will thicker oil eliminate the ticking sound? You guys think I should add Lucas Oil Stabilizer?

just a heads up, you might try to find out when the timing belt was last changed, also to confirm if it is the rockers making the ticking sound, get yourself a mechanics stethscope to listen to the sound or open your valve cover oil fill to hear the ticking sound.
