you could take a grinder, grind a little slot in it and turn it into a flat head screw...

but there is no space. i got about 5 inches. i was thinking of grinding the head of the bolt take off the pully and take the rest of the screw out with a pressure plier.

Cool

Which tension pulley is it? Is it for the A/C or is the timing belt? Is it just the head of the Bolt or is cross threaded and won't come out? If the head of the bolt is stripped I would get a GOOD pair of vice grips or I would use a turbo socket. If possible I would also try to move the engine up or down to increase clearance for tools. Disconnect motor mounts and try either jacking up the motor (make sure you have a block of wood between the jack and the oil pan) or lowering it down it may make the difference of getting it out. Hope that helps
