Worn axle on a 2011 Civic
Hey, everyone. I bought a used 2011 Civic a few months ago. It has 40K miles on it. I started hearing a clicking noise coming from the right passenger wheel area when I would make a hard right turn in a parking lot. Took it in and they said it's a bad axle, but that something must be wrong because the axle should not go that fast on such a new car. Needless to say, I'm frustrated. I do have a full coverage EasyCare warranty, but I'm afraid I have a car that will continue to have issues. What do I do in a situation like this? Do I talk to the dealer I purchased the car from? Do I speak to Honda directly? Is there even anything that can be done? Am I solely responsible since I purchased it and bought the warranty?

welcome to the forum. If you purchased the car from a honda dealer and have a warranty then let the dealer fix the car. If you purchase the car from a used car dealer and there is a warranty, let the warranty pay for the fix. when you purchase a car from a used vehicle lot, it is difficult to know what the car has been through or if went for a swim in the flood. try to find a good auto place you can trust to go throught the entire car and see if it is a lemon. Where did you purchase the car from. email me at acmech52@yahoo.com I will be off the forum for a few days.
