Hi All,

Just bought a used 2014 Honda CRV LX and want to buy and install roof rails because I need a roof rack for vacations. Only the higher end model had roof rails installed. The installation instructions call for the cutting the trim on the car.........scary! I have been searching the internet for the best price on Genuine Hondas Parts plus shipping. Prices I see are in the $400 range and shipping costs are high due to the size. I would consider aftermarket but don't want to sacrifice quality.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

just a suggestion, if you an find a good used roof rack off a salvaged vehicle and take the roof rack out yourself, then the installation will not be scary, you will know what and how to do this. you can also check with our on line sponsor Carid.com and find good after market roof racks. ebay perhaps, ebay also has salvage yards that sell car parts, and you can email them to ask if they have what you need.
