b18a1 wont idle and sounds weird

Default b18a1 wont idle and sounds weird
with this being a dohc can the timing make it sound very weird. if not can a vacuum. its not my cat i drove it around the block and the header didnt glow

i failed to mention this started shortly after using nos . only a lil though. no tap ,tick or knocking. almost reminds me of a wrx exhaust.
