I have a 1997 civicEX. I had the passenger window motor replaced and the window doesn't go down, it only works going up. I switched out the master switch and pass switch, but with no luck. All the fuses are good. Any suggestions.

 

welcome the forum. I got this off yahoo answers. 1. verify the power window lock switch is off 2. Hold the front passenger window switch in the down position and ground the Blue/Yellow wire at the front passenger window switch andsee if the window goes down. 3. If so, ground the Blue /Yellow wire at the power window master switch and see if the window goes down. 4. If not, check the Blue/yellow for an open between the front passenger window switch and the power window master switch - check the door jambs in the right and left doors for the broken Blue/Yellow wire.
