civic won't start
I have a 2001 honda civic ex with 144000 on it. The car has been sitting for the past 4 weeks and yesterday I tried to start it and it wouldn't turn over. I turn the key and clicking comes from the starter but it never engages. I checked the battery and that seems fine. Any suggestions?

welcome to the forum, your battery terminal is dirty or the battery is weak. If it is its original battery, may be time to replace. take battery to a autozone type place and have them do a load test. If already a new battery, clean terminals or charge the battery.

do to milage on car you might need a timing belt soon but it's probley your battery connections new clamps are only 3 to 4 bucks and can be done with side cutters, 1/2 wrench and a 7/16 wrench disconnect the ground first then the positive .....replace the positive first then the neg last to avoid any arcing or damage to your cars computer

Def the battery
When cars sit old batteries can lose charge, since it hasnt been running your alternator hassnt been chargin it, makin the car not start.
Autozone charges batteries for free and it takes about an hour
-Hope it works
