Default Honda civic - Light problem

My Honda Civic 1.5 Vtec airbag lights were on all the time. I was advised to take the battery out for 5 minutes and the lights would reset. I did this and now the radio doesn't work properly and...................yip the airbags lights are still on. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hey removing the battery will not reset the light. You will have to take it to the dealership that is the only way it can be reset. Does your radio just say code? What year is it? By the way the SRS light being on just means that it might not come out if you were in an accident it will not by any means just randomly pop out

Don't go to the dealership. Just get the new lights. Best place is http://www.autopartsway.com/ , cheapest prices for Honda parts.

sgowans says the light works, and yip the airbag lights are still on. Perhaps the srs computer unit needs to be reset.
