Default Stripped threads engine block - accord 2012 SE

Hello, I must have over torqued the nuts on my engine because now I can’t get them off. They just spin. I posted a video here:

I think I’m going to need to retap the holes with threaded inserts, but I don’t know what size to get. Also, this is my daily driver so I need to make sure I have everything before I start.

I think these threaded inserts would work, but I'd like to be sure before I open up the engine... https://www.mcmaster.com/91732A822/

it's attached to a stud, but I cant get the strut out to measure and inspect. I'm guessing it's M6x1 because the nut is 10mm. but no idea what the length is. I'd like to have everything i need before opening up the engine since this is my daily driver.

Is it possible that the studs are *press fit* into the bottom half of the valve cover?

I'm thinking:
inserts: https://www.mcmaster.com/91732A948/
spare nuts: https://www.mcmaster.com/95108A104/
spare threaded rod: https://www.mcmaster.com/1078N137/

Also going to want spare gaskets incase they get damaged when i remove the existing studs.

Is the stud spinning or the nut? If you can get a flat screwdriver under the nut and pry on it while spinning the nut off.A stud is threaded both ends.

Default Nut spins, but stud isn’t coming out

I’m afraid the stud may be something like this (attached image) has anyone ever seen Honda use double ended studs like this?

What should these be torqued to in the future? So I don’t strip any others…

I

I found an image of my engine. The studs are double ended? What will I need to replace these? What torque should they be tightened to? Should I use locktite?

You use a jam nut but you have to have threads for it to work.
