Default VERY dim low beams, can’t find fix

2012 civic LX. Low beams are so damn dim I can’t see jack. First buffed and polished lights, then changed fuses, adjusted up/down position, changed bulbs twice. Took to 2 local mechanics, both ran elec dianostics on alternator, battery, grounds, said they found absolutely nothing wrong and that the lights seemed fine to them. They suggested maybe the headlights themselves were corroded on the inside so I bought new ones. Still the same brightness. Any ideas?

My thoughts are that's the way they are.

It is difficult to judge without actually seeing the headlight assembly
Can not tell if the lens is cloudy
Can not tell if the bulb needs changing
Can not tell if the ground or wiring is the issue with out testing

Did you try the brighter bulbs??
Auto parts stores have 30%, 50%, and 100% brighter than standard bulb brightness.

If you care about brightness, I would recommend you replace your low beams with LEDs.

I feel the same. I have a 2022 models so cloudy/ dirty lenses are not the issue. My local dealer tells me there is no fix and if I go to an aftermarket’s replacement it may void my warrantee. Any thoughts?
