Default 15 HP starts, runs, but won’t restart.

The engine starts with one pull. I go through a 5 mph zone. I rev the engine in neutral. I fish for a couple of hours using a trolling motor with the 15 HP off. When I’m done fishing I end up using the trolling motor to get back in because the engine won’t start. I took it into a shop and they couldn’t replicate it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Default Similar issue

I have a 94 -15 hp tiller with electric start. It starts easily runs fairly well at top or consistent speed. If left to idle it will cut out and will not re start until good and ready. Very aggravating. It seems to restart more often than not when I shut the engine down then restart, but when it cuts out it’s a bit of a bugger. Recently changed spark plugs after one frustrating day on the water. Went back out, same issue. I removed the plugs and found th3 bottom plug slightly wet with fuel and the upper plug was dry with a pale yellowish dry substance. Any clues as to what I am dealing with?
