2006 Honda BF225
Hi captains,
I have this issue I thought it fixed but not.
When I start running up and try to get on plane or as soon as the boat get on plane (around 4000RPM), the engine cut off. The weird thing is I can start it right back up.
I noticed that if happens like that when I start up the engine, then from idle quickly rev it up to 4000rpm, it tends to do that. Or when I trimmed the engine up at sand bar then when going home, I trimmed it down then rev it up to get on plane, it will more likely shut off. Once the boat on plane, I can run up to 5500rpm without any issues.
If I take time and slowly increase to 2000, then 3000, then 4000 then it seems running fine.
Any thought on this?
(I already changed both fuel filters and sparkplugs).
Thanks.
