Trying to change the oil filter and the manual says to remove the six bolts and remove the R engine under cover. Assuming R means right, if thats the side that the oil dipstick and oil filler tube is, then that means looking at the motor from the back?

Anyway, in addition to the screws, and I only counted 5, there are two plastic fittings coming through the cover - hmmm. I wedged them out and they are very solidly connected to hoses going into the motor. So are you supposed to just get them out a bit and then hold the cover in your hand while you replace the filter?

I couldnt imagine that, and I am on a ladder - sailboat is on a high trailer - so I removed the under cover on the other side and the filter is not there.

Any suggestions? Thanks
