Default Reversed hydraulic jack.

Dear fellow Honda outboard users, a question. In order to pass low bridges I need to lower my outboard Honda BF40. Mounting an hydraulic jack plate reversed would do the trick. Issue is that Honda dealership is scared about this, because the cooling water outlet would be below water level. My point, I can close this off with a rubber plug during the passing of this low bridge because the motor is turned off during. So, procedure is: arriving at the low bridge, turn engine off, plug the cooling water outlet by hand, lower the engine to sticking out of the water only 70cm / 27,6 inch and cross underneath by hands to the underside of the bridge. Given te procedure above, does anyone of you see a problem? In other words, would it harm the new Honda BF 40 engine to be lowered (not running) to this height?
Would love your comments, thanks in advance, BR Marco.

Never mind, I already found the answer, it was the idle outlet by the way. Problem solved. Thanks for reading.
