I’m troubleshooting a lack of fuel flow into the carburetor. I replaced the fuel line (which was cracked) and installed an inline fuel filter (clear, so I would be able to see if fuel was entering it). No fuel flows through the fuel line when I apply suction by mouth to the vacuum hose. Ideas?
How should it feel when I apply suction? I don’t feel like I’m able to suck any air at all. I do get a slight taste of gas but no gas comes in though the vacuum hose. It may just be slight gas fumes. Any suggestions for next steps?

 

Turn the filter around and see what you get. It likely only flows one way.
