Default Headlight just went off and won't come back on

I have a 2002 honda metropolitan scooter.. i was driving down the road and went to switch my bright lights on and when I did it appeared dim. So I switched it off brights back to low beam and it came back on for about 2 seconds then light went out completely and had never came back on since. Changed the bulb , wasn't that checked fuses and they are ok. What else can I check??. Also all my brake lights, turn signals all work fine and the speedometer light works to

without looking at the shop manual i would cycle the low/high beam switch many times even pushing don on the switch s you do it. other than that you would have to obtain a shop manual and see what other parts are involved

I would check the connection at the bulb for corrosion and look around for a service manual that would have a wiring diagram. manualslib.com has some, you may have to cruise around through a few manuals to see if anything else is in the circuit like a headlight relay and where it is.

Also look at the siring to the socket for any bulges. You may need to open up the harness.
