Afternoon folks, new to this site and looking for advice on something, have already posted about me on the new members page so wont go into details apart from I work on the scooters, my wife rides them. Anyway I'm in the process of doing some work on her 2005 Honda Pantheon 125 with 14000 on the clock , so far, runs good, but a lot of different issues need addressed, cracks on plastics, that's fine, will repair them and ordered replacements on eBay already for worse ones. Play in back wheel to much, left to right. Replacement visor/screen, having an issue getting copy of original one, seems to be all larger touring ones? The bike is running sweet on the road but occasionally, not a lot, when my wife pulls the throttle there is a delayed reaction , fuel issue, blockage, cable, any ideas? As for now, I am stuck on advice on a ignition barrel. Wife snapped the bottom end of the key inside and having a nightmare getting it out, can still put the key in and turn but tbh the barrel was in a bad way before this happened, I think previous theft attempt with screwdriver before we bought it. so I'm just going to replace it. I have looked online for replacement but keeping coming up with honda 35010KEY900 part, on some sites it is saying that replaces up to 2002 and on others up to 2008, does anyone know the original part number for this bike, can't seem to find it online, and have not had the chance to take it out of the honda to check it. I know this is going to sound stupid, but thought I'd ask anyway. Has anyone put a smart key conversion on a older bike before? Have a smart key set up from my wife's 2021 Honda Vision 110 which is written off after accident, and thought about it in my sleep, I know don't laugh but hey, you never know. Any advice on the topics would be appreciated. Thanks, The Scotsman.
