Question Metropolitan Running with the big guys

I searched for posts on this subject but no soap. I have a 20019 and love it. I am a very experienced 2-wheeler of all types and sizes but still have a question about this little beauty. I have a Polini which allows 45mph before the governor cuts in. Around town and on some back roads, the scooter is obviously modest-powered but its performance is very good for a 50. Do any of us have comments on whether riding it throttle-wide-open for extended periods will harm it? If I thrash it, I can sort of keep up with other scooters, say in my club. I feel like it can hum along 35 without strain but I worry about zooming at 40+. Comments?

Default Rev limit

No worries, that’s what the rev limiter is for. Also, about 1 hour wfo is max. That’s a lot of ground to cover, at wide f*cking open.
