2001 Civic overheating.. please help!
I know there are threads on this and I've looked online for over an hour. Someone might know what I'm missing here.
The car gets to operating temperature and the needle keeps going to hot.
Engine is definitely very hot, starts smoking if I drive more than 15 mins.
Both rad fans are working normally.
I replaced the thermostat, cooling fan switch, and water pump.
I flushed the radiator and checked the top and bottom rad hoses for blockage.
Both rad hoses get hot while the car idles.
You are probably thinking bad head gasket, right?
Did a compression test and all 4 cylinders were between 180-200lbs..
What else could it be?? I've been trying to figure it out all weekend.. can barely get to and from work. Please give me some advice
