Why is Honda continuing to use Michelin Energy Saver A/S DT GRN-X BW 225/50R17 94V on their 2024 Honda Accord 1.5T EX when these tires are known to have side wall air leaks potentially due to hitting pot hole in roads? These are not covered under the Michelin Tire manufacturer warranty or the Honda Dealership. My new car only had less than 12K miles when the Honda Dealership found leaks and advised its up to the Consumer to negotiate all this with the Tire Manufacturer not the Dealership Service Department. This is just wrong. This is not customer service Honda. Is there a recall on these tires?

 

There's a reason they stipulate it in the warranty. Hitting pot holes is hard on them.

 

Good news! Honda is no longer putting those tires on 2024 Honda Accord 1.5T EX‘s. Problem solved.
