Just replaced my 1990 Integra's B18 long block with a a used Japanese B20B longblock which I believe came out of a 1997-2000 CR-V. The B18 oil capacity was about 3.7 qts. The dealer parts guy tells me the CR-V 4-cyl oil capacity is about another quart. The dipstick, from the B18, shows full at 3.7 quarts. Anybody ever done this before?

 

4.0 qt with filter. ( 0.9 qt remains in the engine ) Welcome to the forum. What happened to the b20b dip stick?

 

I got the long block from "JapaneseMotors" in Houston, came w/o a dipstick as far as I know. My mechanic installed it. I changed the oil after the install and put in 4 qts + filter. Dipstick shows full so I believe I am OK.
