Default Completely New to Hondas

Disclaimer: I'm a total newbie. My dad has always been a German car enthusiast and so all I've ever known are BMW's. I've never even WORKED on a Honda. But, I want a more reliable car and I want it to be sensible and reliable. I'm only 5'1" and I have a small garage so I like compact. Around 12k would be best. I'm totally in the dark about how to shop for something either Honda or Toyota. Hybrid would be nice... But, I don't really have first-hand knowledge on ANYTHING. If someone could show me the ropes or point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum, well you will probably get many different responces to this question,I have owned Hondas for 30 years along with other cars and trucks, the reliability on these cars is amazing, very little maint. and high mileage is always been what I find. I would suggest shopping at a Honda lot for your pre-owned Honda,I am partial to the Accords, but what ever you decide on I'm sure you will be happy with it.Good luck,Bobby

Pre-owned... That's something I'd never even thought of! I've only had one car my entire life and it was through a private party. I would like one under warranty since I'm already going to spend many hours staring at it going, "Fuse box here, oil here, coolant there, etc." (Heh, I'm glad I can go all anon here and be a dummy.)
