Default Electrical Issue

Hey guys! I'm having some issues. I purchased a Honda CRV for my wife. The seller told me it only needed a battery due to the old one being dead because it sat for a few months. Well, I take a battery to go pick it up. I installed battery go to start it and nothing happens. I mean NOTHING. No instrument lights. No some light. No headlights. No starter click. Nothing. The only thing I got it to do was the hazards to flash and the brake lights light up when the brake peddle is pressed. A local shop told me to check starter and alternator first, which I did and both check out. Any possible solutions here guys? Thanks in advance

welcome to the forum. Did you get to check all the circuit breakers, (fuse) if the main fuse is burnt, there will no power to do anything. i believe the fuse box is under the hood.
